Charges have been laid against a Chatham man.
Officers responded to a complaint on Fifth Street Sunday afternoon. After a little digging into the story, investigators say a man had assaulted not one, but two of his neighbours, although the nature of the assault hasn’t been released.
A 45-year-old man is now charged with assault and assault with a weapon. He was released from custody and will have to appear in court next month.
