Chatham residents looking for a primary care provider now have a new option.
Dr. Syed Shah has joined the Chatham-Kent Family Health Team, coming to Chatham by way of the United Kingdom, where he worked as a General Practitioner (GP) in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, delivering comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.
Officials with the CKFHT say Dr. Shah completed his BSc in Biochemistry and MSc in Neuroscience and Translational Medicine at Queen Mary University of London, and later earned his MBChB in Medicine from the University of Warwick.
Officials say Dr. Shah will be accepting patient through Health Care Connect at 1-800-445-1822.
Staff at the Chatham clinic have already started booking patients to his roster.
