The wraps will be taken off the new-look water tower in Pain Court today.

The 2.3 million dollar rehabilitation project was started back in January, and included the complete removal and replacement of the interior and exterior coatings of the tank as well as installation of a new mixing system to improve water age and chlorine residuals.

This is the fourth water tower to get an overhaul in the last eight years, and will give the tank an extra 20 years of life.

The tower and its new logo will be unveiled at a news conference in Centennial Park later this morning.
