New Walk-In Clinic To Assist Patients Without Family Doctors

20 Emma Street in Chatham

A new primary care clinic is opening in Chatham to assist patients who do not have a family doctor.

The Chatham-Kent Ontario Health Team is launching a new weekend clinic called BridgeCare at 20 Emma St. beginning on Saturday.

The clinic will be a walk-in service for primary care needs. No appointment is necessary, however there are a limited number of patients who can be served each day.

Those attending the clinic will not become permanent patients of the attending physician.

The BridgeCare clinic will be funded through the Ministry of Health and will operate on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
