Brand new water meters are being rolled out across the municipality.
To give residents a chance to learn more about the new technology, the Chatham-Kent Public Utilities Commission is holding a number of information sessions.
The first is May 9th at the Blenheim Legion from 5-7pm.
The new meters will be installed on an appointment basis to make it as convenient as possible for home owners.
The new meters will be more accurate, decrease water loss, and will be able to be read remotely, reducing costs.
All 36,000 meters are set to be replaced in the next year and a half.
