No Charges After A Truck Almost Falls Into The Sydenham

No charges are being laid after a truck crashed near the Baseline Bridge in Wallaceburg.

The vehicle was found Thursday morning suspended over the cement embankment near the Sydenham River.

Chatham-Kent Police say the driver fell asleep with the truck still in drive. Thankfully, the back tires stayed on solid ground, keeping the pickup from falling into the water.

The man was safely removed from the truck with no injuries, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
