The Chatham Goodfellows are looking forward to some normalcy with this year’s No Child Without a Christmas campaign.
Today marks the official start of the festive season for the agency, which is now accepting applications from existing clients for Christmas food and toy hampers. Those new to the program can apply starting November 8th once the office opens. You can find the contact information on our website at ckxsfm.com.
The organization is able to return to its normal fundraising efforts this year, including the Porch Light campaign on November 29th, and Street Sales on December 10th and 11th.
The Goodfellows are expecting to help roughly 1700 families this year across the municipality.
This year, the agency is being supported by the new owners of the Downtown Chatham Centre, using the old Sears store as a warehouse and home base for toy and food packing.
