A family of four has been displaced following a house fire in Chatham.
Fire fighters were called to a Moonstone Crescent home at 11:15 Friday night.
The flames were quickly brought under control and crews prevented the blaze from spreading to any neighbouring properties.
No injuries have been reported.
Damage is estimated at $200,000 with the cause listed as accidental.
Meantime, officials with Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services are encouraging all residents to use battery-operated flameless candles, or ensure any lit candles are in stable holder and placed where they cannot be easily knocked down.
