Damage is pegged at around $5,000 following a garage fire in Bothwell.
Chatham-Kent Fire and Rescue said fire crews from Stations 8 and 9 responded to a residential property at 245 Elm St. at around 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke coming from a detached garage. The blaze was quickly brought under control to prevent further damage.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire has been listed as accidental.
