Chatham-Kent fire fighters will be back in an east end neighbourhood today following a house fire late yesterday afternoon.

Officials say the blaze started in the attic of a home on King Street East, causing $270,000 in damage.

No one was hurt, and the cause has been listed as accidental.

The Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services will be conducting its ‘After the Fire Reassurance Campaign’ today, answering any questions neighbours might have and talking about fire safety and prevention.
