No New Cases Again Thursday

CK Public Health is reporting no new COVID-19 cases again on Thursday.
It’s now been two weeks (14 days) since Chatham-Kent’s last new infection, according to the health unit’s website. Chatham-Kent has reported 6 new cases in the last calendar month.
The active case count remains at two for the municipality.
Lambton Public Health also confirmed no new cases in their region again for Thursday. Meanwhile, Middlesex-London saw another bump with 12 new infections and 3 in Windsor-Essex.
However, Thursday saw another surge in numbers across Ontario, just as the province’s public health agency reports an ‘unexpected outage’ could delay further test results.
Ontario is reporting 409 new confirmed cases today.
Once again, the GTA is leading the pack with 151 in Toronto, 82 in Ottawa, and 46 in Peel Region.
Meantime, Premier Doug Ford says a member of his tour team has tested positive for COVID-19.
However, the Premier says he hasn’t had any close contact or prolonged exposure to the individual, so will be monitoring any of his own potential symptoms and take whatever action is necessary.
