No New COVID Cases in Chatham-Kent Today

Chatham-Kent is maintaining the status quo with no new cases of COVID-19 being reported today, and the total active caseload holding steady at 17.

There are eight COVID-positive patients being treated at CKHA, including one in the ICU on a ventilator.

Meantime occupancy at the hospital continues to rise with medical, surgical, and critical care beds now at 99$ capacity. The ICU is 80% full.

Across Ontario, the province is reporting 699 new cases of COVID-19, the lowest number since the fall, with a positivity rate of just 3.6%.

Nine more people have died from the virus.
