
Nominations are now closed and the list of local candidates has been finalized for this month’s provincial election.
Running in the riding of Chatham-Kent-Leamington are incumbent Trevor Jones with the PC Party, Liberal Party candidate Bill Kirby, and Christian Sachs with the NDP. Also on the ballot are Matthew Davey with the Green Party, New Blue candidate Rhonda Jubenville, and Phillip St-Laurent with the Ontario Party.
In Lambton-Kent-Middlesex, Liberal Party candidate Cathy Burghardt-Jesson and NDP candidate Kathryn Shailer will face off against incumbent Stephen Pinsonneault with the PC Party. Also in the running are Andraena Tilgner with the Green Party and New Blue Candidate Andy Fisher.
Registered voters will receive their voter information card in the mail between February 17-22 with information about when and where to vote.
Those who wish to vote by mail must apply online before February 21 at 6 p.m. to receive their voting kit in the mail.
Advance polling will take place from February 20-22 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Voters can also cast their ballot at their assigned voting location on election day on February 27 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.
