Nominations are now open to recognize the most accomplished individuals in Chatham-Kent’s agricultural community.
The Kent Agricultural Hall of Fame Association is now accepting nominations for worthy citizens who have demonstrated unselfish achievement within the realm of agriculture and service to the rural community.
The deadline for submissions is March 31. The association will consider each nomination during its spring meeting and the successful candidates will be recognized during an induction ceremony, which is typically held in November.
To date, the Hall of Fame has recognized 209 individuals in the community, including those in primary production, extension and research, education, government, business and stewardship.
