Local writers are being encouraged to pick up their pen or keyboard this month.
November marks National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo, a world-wide challenge to complete a 50,000 word novel before the end of the month.
The Chatham-Kent Public Library is hosting a series of workshops each Thursday in communities across the municipality. Officials say “Come Write In” will aim to provide some inspiration for those who need it, a quiet place to work, and a chance to meet other writers.
