A teenage driver is in hot water after being seen swerving between lanes in Chatham.
An officer on patrol stopped the suspect vehicle on Thames Street at 1:30 this morning and believed the man driving was under the influence of alcohol.
The 19-year-old was taken to police headquarters for tests and is now facing several charges, including impaired driving, driving with liquor readily available, and being a G1 driver unaccompanied by a qualified driver.
His license has been suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for one week.
