Students of the St Clair Catholic District School Board (SCCDSB) will now be back in class on Monday morning.

A notice was sent out late Friday afternoon saying the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA) has suspended the scheduled rotating one-day full withdrawal of services for next week.

“The previously announced one day strike for Monday, February 24th is cancelled. Teachers and students at all St. Clair Catholic elementary and secondary schools will be in class. Buses will run as normal.”

The Ministry of Labour-appointed mediator has called both sides back to the bargaining table on Monday.

There are currently no further one-day full strike actions scheduled for St. Clair Catholic.  All schools will remain open until further notice.
