O’Flynn and Burgess opened in August 1900, and on May 31st, it will close.

Kelly O’Flynn says her father Andrew, used to do special giveaways on St. Patrick’s day.

“Dad used to hand out dollar bills and we had other free stuff that he would hand out too. I think the dollar bills were most popular because some people hadn’t seen them before,” says O’Flynn.

Kelly says the bridge closure, along with inexpensive cigarettes from Walpole Island are the main reasons why her business is closing.
