One new case of COVID-19 has surfaced in Chatham-Kent.
Public Health officials say that brings the municipality’s current number of active cases to three, all of which were caught through close contact.
Province-wide, 313 new cases were reported on Monday, the highest daily increase since June 7th.
About a third of the new cases, 112 to be exact, are from Toronto, 71 in Peel Region, and 60 in Ottawa.
As has been the cast the last little, the majority of the new patients are people under the age of 40.
