A local man is facing charges following an assault in Blenheim.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Stanley Street address on Sunday due to an ongoing dispute.
Authorities alleged that the victim was assaulted by the accused, who had previously made threats that caused the victim to fear for their safety.
Following an investigation, a 70-year-old Blenheim man was arrested and charged with assault and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. He will answer the charges in court next month.
