A group of family and friends have joined together to help a local man fighting cancer.
Chris Markham has pancreatic cancer which has metastasized to his liver and over the past 6 months has found it next to impossible to work, and keep up with costs and expenses from the disease. Being self employed and not being able to work, the online auction seemed like a great way to raise extra money for Chris and his family.
The auction is now on, and ends Friday at 6pm. There are over 100 items up for bids. All the items will be available for pickup following the auction, at JMHI Insurance group on Richmond St. in Chatham. Eric Gaudrault and his staff at JMHI Insurance group came forward and were willing to help the cause by offering to host the items, and help with collecting the money raised following the auction.
