A local not-for-profit organization is hosting an online conference for Ontario students, in an effort to showcase successful female leaders in a variety of careers.
Junior Achievement South Western Ontario has invited students in Grade 8 through 12 to participate in “World of Choices: Empowered Women” on March 24.
During the online conference, students will be given the opportunity to connect with several impactful female-identifying leaders through panels and interactive breakout sessions.
“This event connects students directly with women working in a wide variety of careers — from welding to video game design to medicine,” said Karen Gallant, president and CEO of JA South Western Ontario. “The whole night is an incredible opportunity to get insight into a potential career path and the steps needed to get there – while gathering other inspiring tips along the way. We can’t wait to share this huge wealth of knowledge with students across the region.”
The conference will run from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on March 24. Students can register for free by clicking here.
