Ontario could be set to follow the lead of Quebec and put a curfew in place. It would restrict most residents to their homes from 8 pm to 5 am. Another provincial record Sunday with the Ministry of Health reporting 3,945 new cases of Coronavirus. The 61 new death brings the provincial total to 4,983.
Chatham-Kent reported just two new cases on Friday leaving the active case load at 121. The new numbers will be out later this morning.
In Lambton, there were 40 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday but the number of active cases dropped as a result of 56 resolved cases. There are currently 190 active cases in that region. Also another outbreak at a long term care facility after a staff member at Sumack Lodge tested positive.
The numbers remained high in Windsor Essex with 228 new cases and another death. The death toll from COVID-19 now stands at 210 and the active case load is 2,641.
