Ontario’s daily COVID tally has topped the 1000 mark once again.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says there are 1003 new cases today, including 300 in Toronto, 280 in Peel Region, and another 125 in York.
The amount of testing being done has gone up as well with more than 41,000 swabs processed. However, there are still another 47,000 tests in the pipe waiting to be completed.
Locally, there are 25 active cases of COVID-19 in Chatham-Kent. The latest numbers will be released later this afternoon.
