Emergency services across Ontario are dealing with intermittent outages of the 9-1-1 system this morning.
Provincial Police and authorities in Chatham-Kent released statements this morning urging residents in need of emergency police response to call non-emergency lines.
To reach the OPP, call 1-888-310-1122.
To reach Chatham-Kent Police Service, call 519-352-1234 ext. 9. To reach EMS, call 519-627-9871, and for Chatham-Kent Fire and Rescue, call 519-352-1100.
The CKPS non-emergency line remains operational at 519-352-1234 and is available for all services.
Members of the public are reminded not to call 9-1-1 for information, updates, or to test the phone line if they are not in an emergency situation.
