Officers on two legs and four helped track down a stolen vehicle on Walpole Island.
Shortly after noon yesterday, Walpole Island Police and Lambton OPP responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Altiman Road near River Road, and saw a man running from the vehicle into a nearby bush lot.
OPP general service dog Blitz was brought in and tracked the suspect to a vacant property.
The 38-year-old was arrested without incident and charged with theft of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property over $5000, driving while prohibited, and break and enter.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
