Provincial Police are looking into allegations of vehicle fraud at an auto dealership in Tilbury.

Officials with the OPP Lakeshore Detachment received multiple reports of fraud involving the sale of recreational vehicles (RVs) at Tilbury Auto Sales on Mill Street.

Authorities say several victims reported they had placed their RVs for storage or sale on consignment, but when they went to retrieve the vehicles, they were no longer on the property.

Constable Steven Duguay says at this point, 15 people have come forward, but investigators believe there are more victims who have yet to speak with police.

Anyone who may have information to assist with the investigation, including those who may have had any kind of item on consignment, whether an RV, watercraft, or any other item, is urged call Lakeshore OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.catchcrooks.com.
