A fire in Tupperville could have been much worse, had it not been for the quick actions of an out-of-town fire fighter.
The Good Samaritan just happened to be driving down Brigden Road shortly after 2:30 yesterday afternoon and noticed smoke and flames coming from the house. They stopped and got the homeowner and a child out of the building safely.
Crews from Dresden and Tupperville doused the flames, removing several sections of exterior wall to ensure the fire hadn’t spread any further.
No one was hurt.
No word yet on what caused the fire.
