A Canadian man is facing charges after a large quantity of cocaine was seized at the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron.
According to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers discovered 266 pounds of cocaine in a semi-tractor and trailer on August 1 at around 4:30 p.m.
A 42-year-old man from Canada was arrested and is now charged with felony possession with intent to deliver cocaine.
The accused remains in custody with a bond set at $3 million.
Additional charges may be laid as a result of the ongoing investigation.
