Tens of thousands of dollars has been raised to support local families in times of crisis.
A cheque presentation was held at Family Service Kent on Tuesday, with $43,467 from Music for the Mind fundraisers over the past year helping to provide vital resources for those facing mental health challenges.
Organizer Elisha Bank says as the organization begins its 7th year of fundraising, they are looking forward to raising more awareness and supporting vital resources in the community for children, youth, and adults, and reducing barriers to mental health services.
Funds raised in 2025-26 will support Family Service Kent, the KIDS Team program, and Children’s Treatment Centre and Foundation of Chatham-Kent.
