A man and a woman are facing charges following a theft at a liquor store in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said on Thursday at around 8 p.m., officers responded to a shoplifting complaint at the LCBO on Wellington Street in Chatham.
Two suspects were located nearby and arrested.
A 26-year-old Chatham man and a 29-year-old Merlin woman are now charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The Merlin woman was also charged in connection with a break-in and theft at Access Storage on Richmond Street in Chatham. Several tools were reported stolen on January 21.
