A Dresden man is facing charges after police were called to two separate disturbances on the same day.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a man had entered Godfathers Pizza on St. George Street South in Dresden on Monday and began throwing items around the restaurant.
When staff asked the man to clean up the mess, he made threatening remarks toward a staff member.
Police were called to the restaurant shortly before 1 p.m. and arrested a 21-year-old man from Dresden. He was later released with a future court date.
Not long after at around 5 p.m., officers were called to a Queen Street East address after the same man got into an argument with his landlord. Authorities said the argument escalated when the man allegedly pulled out a small silver knife.
The man was arrested again and taken to police headquarters.
The 21-year-old accused is now charged with mischief, uttering threats, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He was held pending a bail hearing.
