About 7 pm on Saturday a female was walking through Tecumseh Park when she was confronted by two other women.
She was punched in the face and called police.
The tracked down the pair and arrested them both.
A 20 year old woman and a 16 year old youth were charged with assault, and released with an August 2nd court date.
The victim was not injured.
