People’s Party of Canada Prepping For the Next Election

The People’s Party of Canada has announced the date for their upcoming nomination meeting for Chatham-Kent-Leamington.

The party is promising to field candidates in all ridings and will choose the local candidate on June 25th.

There are two candidates vying for the nomination, Liz Vallee, and Regina Stockus.

Formed in 2018, the party received 1.6% of the popular vote in the 2019 federal election, but didn’t win any seats in the House of Commons.
