Chatham-Kent Police are hoping the public can help track down a person wanted in connection to an ongoing arson investigation.
The evening of October 24, police were dispatched to a bank on King Street West in Chatham for a mischief investigation. Officers arrived to find burnt material on the outer west wall of the building as well as cracked windows. It was also reported that 5 large garbage bins were damaged by fire.
Authorities say the dumpster fire had been extinguished by CK Fire earlier that morning.
Through surveillance footage, officers were able to obtain an image of a person of interest.
Anyone who might be able to identify the man or provide any other information to help with the investigation is asked to contact Constable Conner Quinton at connerq@chatham-kent.ca. You can also provide information anonymously by submitting a tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477.)
