It is hard to walk away from a business that you built but after 16 years at Pet Valu, Fab Therrien is ready to say good-bye to all her customers.
Therrien is a self described animal lover and says aside from the business, she took up many other causes.
“We’ve raised money for the Wallaceburg Animal Shelter, the animal rescue fund, all sorts of donations to the WDSS graduation fund,” says Therrien. “All sorts of organizations, but still, mostly for animals.”
The Pet Valu will become a corporate store and as Therrien says all her customers will be well cared for because her staff will be staying on.
