Banister Pipeline, which has been working on the Union Gas Panhandle project in the area over the last few months, has donated $15,000.
Captain Kathy Holland says the money will directly benefit the organization’s Wallaceburg office.
“Emergency services done through the salvation army there and people can come and access the food bank, depending on what a person finds themselves needing at the time, be it help with electricity or clothing or something from the thrift store,” says Holland. “Or whatever their need might be at and donations like this certainly go a long way to helping us service the community.”
Holland says the money form Banister Pipeline was donated by employees and matched by the company.
