Erieau residents are being asked for their two cents when it comes to the village’s future.
A strategic planning meeting is being held April 30th at the Erieau Community Hall.
There will be two three-hour sessions that day, one at 9am, the second at 1:30 to present information from a recent online survey and gather more feedback.
The questionnaire, hosted on the municipality’s Let’s Talk Chatham-Kent website, garnered more than 400 visits and over 250 comments.
Results from the survey and the upcoming meeting will help the Erieau Community Association develop a multi-year strategic plan. The plan will then provide direction for fundraising activities and allocation of funds.
ECA Chair Leo Heuvelmans says the April 30th meetings will go over common themes, what projects should be given priority, and take a closer look at costs.
“We want to bring ideas to the table, get feedback from those who attend the meetings and begin to discuss if there are common themes, what projects should receive priority and examine costs,” Heuvelmans said.
Those wishing to attend will need to register in advance at Let’s Talk Chatham-Kent. The deadline is April 28th.
