A local environmental group is looking for volunteers as work continues to restore a Wallaceburg nature trail.
Following the successful removal of invasive species at Paw Paw Woods in September and October, the Sydenham Field Naturalists is moving to the next phase of its restoration project.
The field naturalists are seeking volunteers to help reintroduce over 350 native plants to restore habitat and biodiversity at the local trail.
Planting will take place on November 30 and December 1 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. All volunteers will also receive lunch and refreshments.

The field naturalists are expected to begin repairs in spring 2025 to improve the trail for better access and a more welcoming environment for visitors and wildlife.
