A chilly dip in an outdoor pool has raised made a splash for Special Olympics in Chatham. 
Chatham-Kent Police Constable Jason Herder says he’s thrilled with how well things turned out for Saturday’s Polar Plunge at the St Clair College Healthplex.
“We had 42 sign up on line, and then at least a dozen (extra who) went in the water,” Herder says. “We had a goal of $10,000 for fundraising, and we’re just shy of $14,000.”
100% of the proceeds directly benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.
