Chatham-Kent police laid 25 charges in a commercial vehicle safety blitz Wednesday.
Officers from the OPP, the CK police traffic unit and Ministry of Transportation were looking for violations including unsecured loads, mechanical issues and licensing violations.
A total of 27 vehicles were checked 13 were taken off the road and one was impounded.
