Police Investigate Crappy Complaint

Police were forced to address a misunderstanding after a woman was accused of flinging feces in Wallaceburg

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said on Tuesday at around 3 p.m., officers responded to the area of Margaret Avenue for a complaint that a tenant was throwing feces at contractors who were working at the site.

However, following an investigation, officers learned the 54-year-old woman was actually throwing bags of peanut butter to feed local squirrels in the area.

The woman received a warning from the officers and was advised to stop throwing any objects.
