A Bothwell man is accused of assaulting not one, but two police officers.
Officers responded to a disturbance at a Talbot Street West apartment building just before 11:30 last night and say the accused had been banging on various doors and trying to get into the units.
Further investigation showed the suspect had been accused of trespassing at the property several times in the past.
He was found hiding in an apartment closet, but when officers tried to remove him, the man allegedly pushed one officer and punched another.
The 37-year-old is now facing charges of failing to leave the premise when directed, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.
