Chatham-Kent Police are reminding local parents of the potential hazards that can be waiting for your children online.
“With kids spending more time online during COVID-19, there are individuals looking to abuse and exploit children during this pandemic,” says the C-K Police Service in a release this week.
“This holiday weekend, talk to your kids and learn more about their online presence. Now more than ever, these conversations are so important. “
Police recommend parents sign up for Cybertip Alerts. These notifications inform parents about concerning technology trends and resources designed to increase your child’s personal safety.
