Two men are facing charges after a drug bust in Blenheim resulted in the seizure of millions of dollars’ worth of illegal cannabis.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers with the Intelligence Section and K9 Unit executed a search warrant at an address on Story Street on Friday.
Authorities said $6.1 million worth of cannabis plants in varying stages of growth were seized.
As a result, a 40-year-old Blenheim man and a 41-year-old Toronto man were arrested and charged with cultivating illegal cannabis. Both have been released with conditions and an October court date.
