Police Still Looking For Help To Locate Stolen Pain Court School Bell

Chatham-Kent Police and École Secondaire de Pain Court continue to ask for the public’s help since the disappearance of the school’s historic bell.
The S.S. #4 Dover School Bell was taken some time between March 13th and April 22nd.
The 250-pound cast iron bell is said to be at least 100 years old. The bell was donated by the Delrue family locally and was an integral piece of the community’s history.
Unfortunately, the video camera footage from the time the bell was taken has been overwritten.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 519-436-6600 extension #222.  Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.
