Details from police remain scarce as investigations into a pair of recent incidents continue.
Officers responded to an Alexandra Avenue address in Chatham Wednesday morning, and alerted the public to an increased police presence in the area. However, no further details have been released.
This incident follows a situation late Monday night which Chatham-Kent Police said involved a possible home invasion with a firearm in Merlin, after which four adults were arrested. However, when asked for further information about the incident, including whether the suspects are facing charges, police officials declined to comment as the investigation remains ongoing.
During both incidents, police said there was no threat to public safety.
