There’s no word on what caused a fatal house fire on Pond Rd. just outside of Wallaceburg.
The blaze claimed the life of the home owner, a 94-year-old woman.
Crews from Tupperville, Dresden and Wallaceburg were called to the scene just after 9:30 last night.
She was transported to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The Ontario Fire Marshall is investigating.
Damage is pegged at $150,000.
