The foundation is providing 20 IV poles or “Power Poles” to the LHIN so kids receiving treatment can use them.
But as Dave Richie, Manager, Communications and Public Affairs, Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network says, there’s a little something special about them.
“Specifically, for Windsor and Essex at this point, and the poles are really designed like superheroes,” says Richie. “And princesses, owls, and cupcakes. Things that kids might find a little bit more comforting.”
Mason passed away in 2016, losing his battle to cancer.
