School boards across the province are being warned to prepare for the potential of an extended Christmas break.
Nothing’s set in stone at this point, but in a memo released on Wednesday, Ontario’s Education Minister says while the transmission of COVID-19 in schools has remained “low” they should prepare for the possibility of remote learning beyond January 4.
Students and teachers are being asked to bring home any material they may need for remote learning when they leave for the winter break tomorrow to “be ready for all scenarios.”
